Dr. Jenny Elliott is a distinguished chiropractor, traditional Chinese medicine acupuncturist, and the Clinic Director of the Central Health Care team. Building on the legacy of her father, Dr. Elliott has cultivated her own reputation through exceptional clinical expertise and dedication to patient care. She won the first annual Guelph Tribune Readers’ Choice Award for favourite chiropractor and has won that same award many times since. Most recently, Dr. Elliott was awarded the prestigious Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) Patient Care Award, an honor given to only one individual out of over 4,000 Ontario chiropractors. This award honours the exceptional contributions of an individual that has demonstrated leadership in all aspects of patient care, from treatment to service and beyond.
Dr. Elliott's academic journey began in Guelph, where she graduated as an Ontario Scholar. She earned her first Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario before pursuing her chiropractic studies internationally at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England, one of the leading chiropractic institutions worldwide.
During her time in England, Dr. Elliott completed her internship at Europe's largest chiropractic clinic, working alongside renowned experts in fields such as rehabilitation, neurology, sports injuries, pregnancy& pediatrics. She further enhanced her expertise in sports injuries by treating athletes with the Bournemouth AFC Football Club and the Bournemouth Rugby Club. As an avid athlete herself, Dr. Elliott understands the importance of tailored care to optimize performance.
Dr. Elliott is also a trained acupuncturist, having completed her studies at McMaster University's Health Sciences Continuing Education Medical Acupuncture program, where she now serves as an instructor & examiner. She is one of a small handful of professionals practicing cosmetic acupuncture.
Her commitment to patient well-being is evident in her personalized approach.With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Elliott ensures that each patient receives appropriate treatment, guidance & education tailored to their individual needs. Her treatments may involve a range of approaches, including manual therapy techniques, exercise & stretching programs, acupuncture, taping & other physical modalities such as shockwave, spinal decompression, laser therapy, ultrasound & interferential current.
She proudly serves as an elected board member for the Ontario Chiropractic Association.
