Jennifer grew up in the Elora/Fergus area and has been a long-time resident in the Guelph/Rockwood community.
Jennifer attended the University of Guelph where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (Honours) in the Family and Social Relations Program. She went on to graduate from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in Toronto. She is a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Jennifer has experience treating spinal cord injury patients, high risk obstetric patients at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, athletes, seniors with dementia, chronic migraine headaches, repetitive strain injuries and arthritis. She treats many that are simply looking for relaxation and stress relief. Her ambition is to deliver safe, exceptional patient-centred care to promote her patients’ health and wellness by reducing their stress and pain. She uses many techniques including (not limited to) traditional Swedish relaxation-based, deep tissue, hydrotherapy and myofascial release.
It was through treatment for her own repetitive strain injuries sustained while working in the automotive industry that she developed an interest in Massage Therapy as a healthcare profession.
