Renata graduated from the distinguished D’Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy based in London, Ontario, in 1999. Since her graduation, Renata has honed her skills by working in a diversity of settings in Guelph including the Homewood Health Care Centre, chiropractic clinics, nursing homes, hospitals and with private patients in her home office. Renata has been working with Central Health Care (Elliott Chiropractic and Rehabilitation) since 2005.
In 2009, Renata completed her training in Manual Lymph Drainage and Decongestive Therapy with the internationally renowned school of Vodder International. This program has allowed her to treat both Primary and Secondary Lymphoedema conditions. Renata is also an ADP Authorizer for Compression Garments. Through the Parks and Recreation Dept. of the City of Guelph, she has taught parents the stress reducing and restorative benefits of infant massage.
Renata is currently a member of the Lymphoedema Association of Ontario, Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario, and NAVALT (North American Vodder Association of Lymphatic Therapists) and a member of the Greater Wellington/Waterloo Association of Lymphedema Therapists. She is currently on the Executive of the Guelph Girls Hockey Association and was a board member of GWIN where she still maintains contact.
