Trina Scarrow, D.Ch
Trina has over 20 years experience working in the footwear and medical foot care field. Trina graduated from the Ontario Chiropody Program at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN (University Health Network) - (formerly the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences), in 2000, after completing her undergraduate degree in biology at The University of Western Ontario. During her education, she completed full clinical rotations at The Toronto General Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences Chedoke Hospital, as well as spent some time serving the diabetes chiropody centre at McMaster hospital. During this time, she spent 5 years working in the retail footwear industry where she worked with fashion, comfort and athletic footwear. After graduating, she practiced in the public as well as the private sector for some time before settling into today’s clinics. She held staff positions at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Woolwich Community Health Center for a number of years. She has also had experience in private clinics in Oakville and Hamilton.
Currently, she balances her time between work and family, operating the 2 locations of Custom Foot Clinic. She is a member in good standing of The College of Chiropodists of Ontario, The Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine, The Ontario Society of Chiropodists, The Prince Edward Island Podiatry Association and currently serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.
She understands the importance of mobility, and being able to lead an active, pain-free life in order to get the most out of your time. She aims to help her clients improve their foot health by providing thorough foot assessments, comprehensive treatment plans centered on her client’s particular needs and evidence-based foot care.
